'Enys Art Exhibition & Bluebell Festival', a group exhibition with new work on show by Chloë, a Fal Estuary series, inside Enys House.
SAT 29TH APRIL - MON 2 MAY 2017, TR10 9LB
It has been such a joy creating new work for the exhibition, and I feel it has mapped some fabulous moments in time. Painting over at Restronguet Point, with the water full of excitable spring voices; the Helford and it’s sparkling brilliance and alluring water; Trelissick and that folding view from the beach, and the ever favourite Gyllyngvase Beach and those first few moments of the summer months… Fabulous to be painting in Cornwall! The space at Enys is just really inspiring, and I was really keen to get out and paint, and that's what I've been doing. I'm looking forward to nestling them into the house over the bank holiday weekend, and excited to be alongside such a great selection of other artists local to the area. Raw spaces with history, are just so inviting to fill with artworks. There's so much texture there and washed out colour in unexpected places. A beautiful place, inside and out.
The exhibition will be invigilated throughout the weekend, and sales invited at any time, but you are guaranteed to find me there in person on Monday the 2nd May. Please email chloe@chloegallery.co.uk for any further information.
