Chloë Tinsley
original, mini, and large prints
Painted by Chloë at the beautiful Sirius Cove on the North Shore of Sydney Harbour, a cove in Mosman famous for its views across the harbour, its beautiful green surround of towering Eucalyptus, amazing houses and Scout Hut. This is where the 'plein air' artists of Sydney set up camp, Arthur Streeton and Tom Roberts of the Heidelberg School and leaders in Australian Impressionism. A site of ancient resonance for the Wiradjuri tribe. At the top of the hill sits, Taronga Zoo, if you listen closely you can hear elephants and chattering creatures from even further off lands. This original is almost 3m in width and will make the most amazing show stopping piece for a home collection. Perfect for an entrance hallway, an approach from straight on, left or right. It works beautifully against a light wall, but will also pop out against a dark. This is definitely a collectors piece, maybe it should end up in the Australian Consulate London.
